Often we are taught to tithe, to give, to offer, to obey our parents, to work hard and so forth and forth. We are told not even asked to do the mentioned but how and why lacks hence leaving most of us in “then what” and “so what”However, in my whole life it has never been so easily taught and understood. God is at Mavuno.

Once again powerful. I especially liked the part about Mavunites owning businesses. I have been fortunate enough to travel across Africa and I must say I have been disappointed that in every African country I go to Nigeria, Malawi, TZ, UG, Zambia I have never missed the cheap low quality Chinese imports. And mitumba.
As Dambisa Moyo said in her book Dead Aid the aid Africa has recieved has made her poorer. Rivatex and the other textile manufacturers been killed by mitumba. How can they compete with free goods? As this is happening Africa is turned into a second hand dumping ground for what the rest of the world doesnt want.
Could Mavuno help turn this around? By incubating businesses in textile manufacturing as we grow our own cotton? By the way whatever happened to the lady who was trying to revive the cotton belt?

I have a problem that maybe you can advice me on next week, as Mr. Wahome had mentioned, Paul in Ephesians 6:2-3 says “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise—that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”
The problem is that my Mum has a drinking problem (Dad has passed on) and no matter how much i try to connect with her it is fruitless, not only now that i am born again but from when i was very young i’ve had this problem, im a second born. What do i do because i want all to be well with me and my family, and to enjoy the heavenly gifts and blessings well into my old age?

Todays message ws one of a kind.I guess i jst needed 2 hear it.Nw where do i start.Tuanze na tithe ws jst recently employed&being a young turk i thot God up above surely knows my commitments(rent .new suits.food.HELB.maji&Stima bills etc)he wil understand&exempt me 4rm the tithe bracket.little did i know am robbing&offering it hs always been hard 2 give with the same excuse God understands.Nw i knw wat 2 do all i pray is that i wil obey&b in the convenant.I hav never paid my tithe.This month will start 2 pay&also b a cheerful giver may the Lord help me.Thank u Wahome&Pastor M 4 the word.

Today was an amazing service…actually “amazing” does not do justice to what God delivered to the church through Mr. Wahome & Pastor M. I see giving in a whole different light….what God has blessed me with, isn’t really for ME….he has given it to me to manage. Its like an MD in a company, the money made is not his, he manages it and distributes it accordingly.
I have a question that i’ve been battling with for the last 11 months since my dad passed away. Mr. Wahome talked about giving to the poor and to our parents. My dad GAVE and GAVE and GAVE some more. He gave to strangers, he gave to friends, he gave to acquintaces, he even gave to people who disliked him, he gave to us, his family. To the community he gave out 50 acres of his land and built a school and a church, brought water to the community. He paid school fees for countless needy children, some of whom we didn’t even know until he passed away. He gave to orphans. Many attest to what he did for them. His dad passed away when he was 23 and since then he took care of his mum….clothed her, fed her. met her every need until she was over 100years old. In return to all this, my dad passed away when he still had many years to go….Mr. Wahome said we take care of our parents to secure our lives…my dad did this and way way more. Any thoughts?

I have seen what God can do when one tithes i can’t wait to see what He will do when i purpose to give my offerings deliberately. You did grand jana. Its amazing how you brought up the priority list of financial receipients. I am looking forward to giving back to God and suprising I am excited about giving!!!. Its also good to know that it is expected to receive from God.
Mr Wahome, please I would like you to explain to me the phenomenon I have observed in a number of men and some real close.
Why is it that some men start simple, poor and in very close partnership with their wives build empires. However when they start leaping the fruits, suddenly their wives seem ‘too unattractive to them, less of class? and suddenly they have this Gachungwa, side plates, mpango wa kando who are invited to enjoy the very sweats of their wives? What happens to most men? Some evcn end up neglecting the same wife and children who helped thme climb the lander. Is it that they do not want to be with their wives who know ‘their history or know where they started from or what happens.?
The day my hubby got his first million he suddenly informed me that I had become too cheap for his class and man since then He has had a woman after another , after another!! From the pulpit to the other side of the world!! Money can actually change a man that seriously???????????? or is there something I do not know?

I learnt a lot from mr wahome and Pastor M..I went home and blessed my folks.hopefully i’ll practice the rest too ..I however disagree that giving protects us from adversity-remembering the example of the bird and the engne..thnk its important to remember God is sovereign and he wil do as he sees fit.despite us being faithful givers.
@ pleasure seekers-its never easy.forgiveness and reconciliation take time,I think if yo u take a step,the grace of God will go miles ahead and help you along.

I associate fully with Afrochick since my late Dad supported so many including even donating land to squatters some of whom I have inherited on the farm and are giving me nightmares. He paid fees for the so many before even paying fees for his own children and just passed on when we needed him most. I have no more commentsto make on that…. And for Lilian, I strongly agree with you after having traversed all continents that the aid Africa has received has made her more poorer.
While noting that aid in not the panacea to the socio-economic challenges facing Africa, our leaders including those managing the economies are the causes of this. In every country it is the Minister for Finance who usually invites World Bank, IMF etc through the standard ‘Letter of Intent’ ie these donors dont wake up one morning and come to us without invitation. However, we can avoid this by having inward looking resource mobilisation campaigns eg infrastructure bonds etc. Africa, we hold the solution to our problems but as rightly put it starts with seeking first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, then all things will follow.

That was too great. I “stumbled” into church, my friend said I must come jana and i just had to. I had two highlights, I identified with the MC- the dude that was talking about his relationship with his dad, I was amazed to find out that am not the only one in this battle, then as if to “add insult to injury” Mr. Wahome talked about building a house for his father-in-law who was an absentee father to his wife. WHAAAAT? For me my giving mystery wil be solved by me first patching things up with my dad. It was clear that, that is where God wants me to start, God is working on me from my inside- My heart. Pastor M, that seat I sat on jana, please reserve it for me for next sunday its official I am Mavunite and am A MEMBER!!!!

Heee he!! yaani (lol) after church last sunday (4th) I was sure it cdnt possibly get abt better! but lo n behold! it actually did! church was just off the hook!!! so I have been out of a job the past couple of months and have used that as an excuse not to tithe..lakini after last sunday I made a decision to be a good steward of the little God gives me n al tithe..jana i had soo much psyche for time for giving!! As i gave i realised I had indeed been stealing from God plus…in that one week Gd has blessed me (financially as well as otherwise) more than I thought.
Thank you Mr. Wahome n Pastor M! I am learning soo much. During the sermon there are a number of ouch and aaaahhh! moments…I cant wait for the end of the month to buy the series.

@afrochick I’m sorry that your dad passed away. That must have been so so difficult. I get why you’re confused about him not getting long life as promised. There’s something Pastor M and Mr. Wahome talked about as they were beginning the series. God is sovereign. Job was a faithful man who in all respects deserved in man’s view to always be wealthy for his faithfulness but God allowed him to endure untold loss and hardship for His glory for a time.
Pastor M and Mr. Wahome have made it clear that we don’t actually make God to do anything. The final decision’s with him. I still struggle with that sometimes because I think if I did something a certain way then the reward is my right,but in the end,it’s God’s decision that rules. Your father’s promise of long life will probably be fulfilled by you,his family,continuing his generosity in his legacy. Because he’s the one who began it,people will always remember him too.

Waaaaaaaaaa..pastor M and Mr. wahome-I cant begin2explain how lost I was concerning giving. im like B in that I was recently employed after leaving campus and seriously God has to understand commitments???bt as you spoke I begun to feel the scales(that I dint even know were there) begin to fall off my eyes..I was broken to tears at how tightly closed the windows of heaven must be when it comes to me and how wrong my perceptions were concerning giving.. And when Mr. wahome asked for those who wanted to rededicate their lives bcoz they hav valued clothes over giving I felt a spotlight go on me and I confessed to having lived for myself for way too long. I dont know how a sermon has changed my heart concerning everything in my life but it has. im doing mizizi and for the first time since I joined the class,Tuesday cant come soon enough. my heart is so open….thankyou pastor M and Mr. wahome for listening to God. My life begun to change yesterday…thankyou

I heard you speak about entering a new covenant with God that breaks the power of satan over your health, sin and prosperity thru the cross.
Is there a higher dimension to entering these new covenents and breaking the covenants with the world and with the devil that make us completely free so that the struggles that you talked about are a thing of the past or is this new covenent the salvation we recieve when we get born again.

Pastor M. Question.do all these things apply if you’re living on pocket money in school(uni)? I tithe. That’s a must-do,even though it really squashes on what I can spend even in terms of food,stationery and other essentials. I try to save but then soon,that book or manual or piece of equipment will come along that the lecturers say we must get.
Do the principles of giving still apply if you live literally on every shilling you get?

Mr Wahome n Pastor M u hv bn a blessing and God is doing something in mavunite lives. I was on spotlight when Mr W said that some pple would rather buy clad than give to God and i bluntantly feel and know am one of the xtians who find it very hard to give………………….Pastor M i wud luv 2 know more on giving and have a clear understanding. May be Pastor S can do a book on giving since he is so blessed to clear so many ?s xtians have on giving.
Consider extending the ”SHOW ME THE MONEY ” series to Nov because i feel God brought this up with a purpose and i see the mega evertthing on the development vision 2015 happening just like this………….because God is dwelling in MAVUNO

This was my first time to sit in for the service the whole time and I was really blessed. One thing that struck me and is something that I have been struggling with is my relationship with my dad. Astar talked about it and I felt like God was using him then it came again during the sermon. I glad to say that I sent him a text, he did not recieve it well but I left it to God. i must say the smoke screen behind th mystery of giving is slowly being lifted before my eyes. Tithing n offering have been a grey area 4 me 4 a long tym coz i had limited myself 2 a mindset of thinkin “how much iz enough for God?” Never had i viewed giving as an act of worship. I have recently moved to mavuno and i must say that in a matter of 4 weeks my christianity has been transformed,renewed and re energised.
With God lighting my path i am well on the way to becomin a fearless influencer of my family my relationship & my friends.

as mr. wahome said, tythe is a pay that you must make to god. its a tax. just like you do to kra. can u use the kra tax to help ur family or any other things then explain to them? no. so does it apply to god. to my thinking, u should tythe in church since this is a pay that enhances gods kingdom. the pasi/priest is a symbol of christ. so just take it to church and get something else for your family members.

after receiving Jesus and letting him be your lord, you are forgiven and all the worlds covenant broken. you renew your covenant with god by dedicating your life (note:all your life) to him and searching him in all your ways. you become completely free from your past sinful life. you can also join mizizi if you’ve not or get in touch with a prayer concillor for more prayers on this. don let your past life affect your reletainship with god. praying for you.

I really repented last weekend. I do tithe on a regular basis but the last few months I havent and I justfied it by saying that using tithe I wouldnt need to borrow to meet the additional expenses and now I realise how wrong I was. I need to honor the one who gives me the ability to earn especially if all I have to do is change my lifestyle slightly. Secondly For the longest time I couldnt understand how guys could speak so honestly about being wealthy but understanding the level of obedience exercised by these men and women and the level of submission required I now know that its not pride that drives this confession of wealth but praise for God. Thank you for facilitating the process of my increased understanding

Pst. M and Mr. Wahome, you have delivered more than any business school can teach…..kwanza with bible principles and backing,what!!!!! still taking in the past 2 sermons.
i partook the money series last year and after the night series i got saved the next weekend at mizizi…that was God timing.
i then started the principle of of paying tithe and still giving my offering(same amount every Sunday) then things shoot up and biz flourished …but only for a while then……naaada.
I have now learnt that fasting and prayer wont change things if i don’t plug into God’s agenda for my life….meaning sowing the right seeds, giving to Caesar what belongs to him and to God what belongs to Him,putting God’s agenda first by giving love in abundance to our folks irrespective of the hurdles they face, giving thanks by blessing people everywhere we go esp. the old and this should be clear even to the guy who opens our gate(Pst. M has emphasized this over and over).
I am still amazed how media blinds the truths of who the “poor” is….and Mr. Wahome then clarifies, that being poor isn’t an area code but by the fact that one lacks financially….very profound that should be how we look at life….through clear glass(The Word of God)
I look forward to next 2 weeks as God unfolds his agenda for me and my church. yippee!!!! kwanza that recreational park….the impact will be phenomenon.
i so want to be a part of Mavuno 2015, Pasi if you need someone just to do any jobs however minimal count me in. Guys we have loads ahead and these men of God speak to us it should be for just an aha! moment…then a few month later back to normal( guilty) but for serious plugging in without questions.
The greatest take-out is all the promises God has said in His word will be accorded to us plus those of the jiranis and their jiranis if we just allow Him to manifest and follow Him and the principles given.
Kingdom business school is how…. they are booked the whole of next year or should i do as their proprietor advices of proclaiming victory through some serious faith….. ” i know there is a vacancy…just check, i know there is” 🙂 or Pasi. can we get a special class for Mavuno???
All in all thank you for being a blessing and allowing us to hear God through you it is a privileged to be a MEMBER since 2007.

Sunday’s service was very inspirational and I thank God for the wonderful Insights that Pastor M and Mr. Wahome have on the issue of money. Some of these things we hear about them but in practice we fail. I am glad that God through Pastor M and Mr. Wahome managed to demystify the whole subject and also for letting us get the first hand testimony of how life changes when we align our finances and other God given gifts with HIM. This was truly unbelievable and I thank God for the message.

Sunday the 11th was my second time at Mavuno and the sermon was quite something.It’s funny how God answers prayers….I was reading thru the story of the winning company in this years Top 100 sme’s and Mellech engineering CEO had attributed his success to Mr. Wahome’s teachings of doing business God’s way.At that point I silently and casually told God “God it would be nice if i met Mr. Wahome and listen to him teach” and voila…..I listened to him on Sunday.Nice!My knowledge increased and so did my Faith.
Two questions Pastor M.I missed the first sermon on money..how can I get it?Secondly….what does the bible say about getting a loan to start a business?Are there any teachings on it?or should I sow a seed and wait to reap my capital?Be blessed! and am down with the Mavuno Park vision.

Hi Pastor M and Mr. Wahome.. I thank you for addressing the finance issue boldly and fearlessly. I am in the verge of debt accumulation. Mr. Wahome what is your take on this. I earn 30 k… I would like to take a loan in the form of an advance salary so that I may pay for a course that I feel I need to improve my skills.. The amount is to be deducted directly from my salary at the end of each month.. I have taken this borrowing option in the past but it strains my budget… Kindly advice.. Secondly I just cant break even with my salary I always find myself in debt though not from the lending institutions but I always ask for cash from my mum.. is it Bibilically wrong for me to ask cash from my mother.. I feel guilty doing this.. Please advice.

I struggle with the same issue Afrochick and M.S. have shared. I have had the priviledge of living with a father who took God at his word, and acted on his belief. He built a school to help the destitute in our community. He rallied the pastors into a fellowship, he actually bought land for my grandfather so he could give it away to his other children as an inheritance. He schooled all his sibblings, as well as 248 orphans and destitute kids all the way through 4th form. He gave and gave and gave. The health of his business did not reflect this covenant. His death still traumatises us and as a family we have struggled even more since.
I want to have realistic expectations of what this covenant means. How do I reconcile the promises in the Bible with the reality I have witnessed? How can I know my family will not want and struggle even after I am gone if I seek first the Kingdom in the way Mr. Wahome advised?
Since my father’s death 2 years ago, I have become the figure head at home. Now my income is greatly depleted by frequent emergencies at home and in the family business. Saving and creating a financial inheritance for my own family has become a challenge. I feel bad about this, especially because my father walked with God with an undivided heart. So what will stop this becoming the story of our family for generations to come?

Am having a hard time trying to think where to start as there is so much that i have learn t over the last few weekends and no words can seem to express what i feel on the inside. I came to Mavuno not knowing what the future had in store for me and guess what? It has been the best time of my life. I had changed jobs at the time and things where moving from bad to worse and i had so many unanswered questions that i needed answered by God. The shocker was in my quest for answers i gave my life to him which was not anywhere in my plan. Then i was in mizizi where i got to learn so much that i didn’t have a clue about God. To cut the long story short is that through this time i have been struggling financially and got in debt and worse enough lost all that i had. The series show me the money has been transforming my mind and i have learn t why am going through this situation. In my previous job i used to make so much money and i never tithed as most of what i got went to the pub.
Its amazing how God transforms us and forgets all the sins we have ever made.
I have learn t the hard way and God smirked me so that i could get back on track. Am focusing on clearing debt and have been tithing for last couple of months and am hoping by the end of the series i will be fully equipped for financial freedom and success.
Looking forward for the next sermon and testifying what God has done.

oh ma goodness! kwisha this is the begining of the rest of my life, now i have a question or two. What if you are so much in debt, that whenever your salo comes its all over before you even start spending it how do you tithe then? does God allow you to pay your tithe before your debts?
question number two: where do you tithe if you are not yet a member of a particular church?

It was fantastic to realize about the blessings that come after different kinds of giving, especially the blessing after giving to your parents. Pastor M I value parents very much and I don’t like seeing my friends playing around with their parents so I encourage them just to support them for them to acquire that blessing. Any way the sermon was very powerful and a life changing sermon which all of us need to hear. I want to thank God because he compelled you to preach about giving. I also thank God because you obeyed his voice to speak to his children, the bible says that my people perish because of lack of knowledge and this is the knowledge that we need. God bless you pastor M and Mr. Wahome for the insight that you have given us especial to me am wondering when will Sunday come to go to church and hear the sermon,.

…still waiting for someone to answer the questions about pocket money Pastor M.you have to respond. A large number of people in campus actually would like to do all that you were saying but if you’re in a tough course like medicine or law or engineering,you just don’t have time to look for part time jobs so you can do all these wonderful things with money.
Another thing,and I know I’m being a wet blanket in this wave of gratitude,but doesn’t it seem like the guys on stage are always exalting ‘Mavuno’ and what it’s done for you a lot more than exalting God?just a thought. They spend a lot of time saying how Mavuno’s done this,Greenhouse is the best that,Mavuno is the other…don’t shoot me…

someone(my ex) offered to help me out of a dire need situation financially..then later tells me to refund him the money(on monthly installment basis)…and suddenly i was in dept!!!!!! what upsets me most is there was no prior agreement to me owing him…all this came up afterwards!!!!!
I was being thrown out of a house for heaven’s sake after a fallout with my sister…and he offered to help out….am i justified to feel this bad??..why tell me after and not before???…i asked him and he says am only refunding part of the money..ati it’s not a loan.???????????? huh????
every coin i earn has it’s place..tithe, rent, food,school fees for my sis and bro, supporting my mum…and he knew all these…
i need advise/a way forward…i need to clear my chest…

Hey pastor M. Surely from all that everyone else has blogged, I am sure you appreciate how much the last two sermons with Mr. Wahome has changed the maltitudes. – I shall not repeat all.
My simple question is this, does Mr. Wahome have a book/booklet with all this? Honestly, I’ve never been a fun of inspirational books/conferences/speeches etc but surely God has a purpose in Mr. Wahome’s life and the way his teaching has changed my (and many other people’s) life, there’s a deeper meaning in there.
I would like to take more time to listen to (or read) what Mr. Wahome has to say as the sermon time in church is not long enough. If he’s got some material I would love to get a copies for myself and friends.

For the last couple of years you’ve been teaching on Kingdom principle on managing our finances have been greatly blessed and my life has completely changed.
Pastor M if you don’t mind remind guyz about one important principle that you taught sometimes back: “LIVE LIKE NO ONE ELSE TODAY SO THAT YOU CAN BE LIKE NO ONE ELSE TOMORROW!”. Guyz that principle works!

But my question is for some one who is in Debt and they want to get out what would you advice coz if u have like 3diffrent bank loans and credit card loan and small debts how would u advice that person and how do u know its a divine idea any guidance will really appreciate coz am desperate

Hi,Pator M and Mr.Wahome.
The sunday sermon /teachings were great.Am not a mavunite but i occassionally ‘peep’ in to ‘borrow githomo’.
I have read comments and esp that of Afrochick and M.S.(The lord knows,he has not forgotten.There is a reason,and at the fullness of time you will understand and your soul will rejoice for God does no owe any man-besides Love).
I have been a christian now over 20yrs and let me say the presentations of your services is fantastic,influencial and practical.
But let us sort one issue Pst M AND Mr.Wahome concerning prosperity/financial blessing(excuse my preaching).
1.Mr.Wahome handled only a small portion of financial success principles:-GIVING.BUT GIVING IS NOT EVERYTHING.
-Psalms35:27,Deut 28:11,2cor8:9-Its Gods pleasure to prosper his people.
-Foundation of prosperity/whyGod blesses:-covenant Deut 8:18,Psalms 89:34,Jer 33:20-21.Prosperity in the Kingdom of God does not answer to prayers or fasting but to understanding of covenant. 2.Gen 12:1-14,Gen26:1,12:-God blesses us that we may be a blessing not consumers. 3. 2Tim 2:19,Job22:23-24,Malachi 3:10.Mark 4:11-:Until one steps out of sin and is purged by the blood of Jesus,you CAN NEVER ENJOY THE COVENANT PROSPERITY.
-YOU CAN GIVE AND GIVE AS MUCH,BUT NOT ENTER INTO GODS PROSPERITY COVENANT-WHY:-Prov 23:26,2Cor8:5,Psalms51:16-19,Romans 12:1-God desires your HEART not CASH.Your dedication to Gods kingdom precedes any sacrifice,for where your treasure is there is your heart.Many people give out of neccessity,for a show,grudginly,and without revelation-Remember the widow who gave a MITE!
-:You must give cheerfuly,with affection and excitement-Deut 28:47-48,Jere 23:36-39,Psalms132:4-5,Math6:33:-Dont give as if its a burden-ITS WASTED.Look at 1Kings3:3-And Solomon LOVED the lord,Verse 4…He gave 1,000 burnt offerings.LOVE 1ST,GIVING 2ND.
3.THE SEED PRINCIPAL
I think this is the missing link to prosperity and am currently researching deeply but consider this:Joshua 1:8,Job 22:1-24,Psalms 112:1-3,Deut 28:1-14,Psalms 119:130.Its our receiving the seed(word of God), eat,drink,meditate,internalize it,ruminate,gagitate and DRAW OUT REVELATION AND ACTIVATE/ACTUALIZE the truth in the word and commandments of God,then you can encounter the blessings.Its the word that delivers men from sin,poverty,disease,lack;Not prayer or fasting or giving.(Luke 4:18).God is interested first in prospering the soul before your life-3John 2
-:The SEED is not MONEY.Money/increase/prosperity comes after OBEDIENCE to the WORD-SEED.Gen
12:1-2,13:2,Math 7:24.The word of God is the seed,if it falls on fertile ground(received by revelation in your heart) it will produce prosperity.Look at Isaih 9:8.
– There are other numerous secrets and principles of prosperity in the bible but for now i end with Luke 9:62.You must keep your focus on your labour,purpose,vision.If you look back you are not good for the Kingdom.Broken FOCUS is the cause of many failures.
With this few insights i rest my case and invite YOUR INDULGENCE.AM LEARNING AND SEARCHING, UNTIL I FIND I WILL NOT REST-Job 23:10.James 1:3-4.

Hallo Pastor M, Mr Wahome,
when Wahome said “Take care of God’s business and God will take care of your business” That statement has never rung true as it has at the moment for our family.
My aunt fell sick in August and was admitted in hospital intermittently for a month with high fever and lung infection.On or about 29th Sept, 2009 her situation deteriorated and she was transferred to ICU at the Aga Khan University Hospital with severe internal bleeding and septic shock. She stayed in the ICU for a week and sadly went to be with the Lord on 6th October, 2009.
my aunt loved the Lord and lived her life praising and worshiping Him.She blessed other people with selfless giving either financially or in kind. As a family, we had been praying for a miracle to heal her so when she passed on, we thought God had abandoned us.But the Lord works in mysterious ways and we were about to witness God’s miracles in buckets.
Am sure most, if not all of you, know that Aga Khan is prohibitively expensive and especially the ICU where people can incur bills of upto Kshs 100,000/= a day.Well, my Aunt ran up a bill of Kshs. 1.17million in a week! And guess what,her employer wrote to the hospital and paid the entire bill! Before we could process that, the same employer informed us that it would be paying for her mortuary fees,buy her coffin and pay for her transportation to the burial place, in this case,about three hours drive from Nairobi.
As we celebrated her employer’s generosity, her Life Group (Asali), her daughter’s Life Group(Eden Grove) Greenhouse and her daughter’s School- Daystar University came forward and got completely involved in the funeral arrangements.They helped raise money for other funeral expenses and we were able to raise Kshs. 70,000/= in 2 days which was exactly the budget the committee had estimated. We were therefore able to plan and execute a funeral in three days.My Aunt passed on on Tuesday 6th October and was laid to rest that very Saturday of 10th October. Testimonies at the funeral all spoke of how selfless my Aunt was in giving without expecting anything in return.
As a family,we cannot thank the people who helped us in our hour of need enough.Most of all, we witnessed the hand of God in a way that was astounding.We all have heard stories of families being bankrupted by hospital bills incurred by their loved ones and being unable to lay them to rest because the hospital cannot release the body. But God came through in such a major way that we were just overwhelmed.
I have seen the meaning of Life Group.It’s not just a forum to socialise and indulge in the occasional gossip, but it’s a place where people make real friends and influence each other in a real way hence the phrase”Creating fearless influencers” is absolutely spot on. My Aunt’s and her daughter’s Life Groups showed us the meaning of friendship,support and fellowship.I sincerely thank all the people who were involved in planning and executing my Aunt’s funeral.Am sure she’s so proud of them for coming through for her and giving her a fitting send off.
Because my Aunt gave generously and selflessly, God gave back to her tenfold even in death.She is no longer with us, but she left a legacy of generosity and selfless giving that we should all emulate.Now thats what i call harvesting where you sowed.(2 Corinthians 9:9-11)
Our God is a wonderful God and all praise be to Him.

Wow,what a wonderful past couple of sermons,they’ve been quite a revelation!Thanks Pastor M and Mr.Wahome for letting God use you in this way.Have a question,it’s about firstfruits.Like with your first salary,should one give all of it or a special gift from it in addition to tithe or just tithe.Please let me know what you feel God’s heart is about this issue.God bless.

eeeh!first is an appreciation to you guys for being faithful to the vision that God has entrusted to you. Then to Mr. Wahome for sharing his story that has turned my life around and given me a new perspective in life. it’s one thing to hear a sermon from a pastor its a totally different thing to hear it from a regular Kenyan who despite the circumstances in this country is making it n making it big at that. Mr. Wahome’s story is practical and has managed to draw out a picture that it starts with God, its possible to thrive without being corrupt and that God is not out to play us out of the little we are clenching our fists at but his offer is exceedingly abundantly above what we could think of. This country’s greatest heights are yet to be attained our best days are still out in front of us and its with God we become pacesetters. In line with giving I plan to buy a few copies of pastor M’s book on chumz n sambaza it to my friends and family.

I am also in campus and i use my money to do wonderful things. I know pocket money isn’t much but out of it u can commit a urself2 tithe. You can always sow a seed, it doesn’t necessarily av 2b financial but sth dat will make a difference in the lives of those arnd u.
I’v bn to other churches, i must confess none cmps to mavuno. I beg to differ with u, da service leaders always tell wat mavuno has to offer thro’ its different ministries lyk grn hse, teenz konect etc. We av seen lives changed even kids attest to dat. God is glorified not man or any other thing.

wow pastor M and mr wahome. Mavuno rocks ! abd the past couple of sermons have been a real eye opener for me. i particulalry was touched by your emphasis on application of kingdom principles in our work places, and that if you denounce God in public He shall do likewise to you. i have been saved for a couple of years, and when i joined my present employer i was excted to find that they have a morning glory. but after attending a few sesseions, i could not stand attending anymore because the sessions usually ended up being gossip and rumour mongering sessions by the organisers/leaders of the session. its just those people who give xtianity and salvation a bad name and i chose not to be associated with them. the other day one of the morning glory leaders asked that we begin our office meetings with a prayer. (our company is interdenomination and there are some muslims and hindus). at the poll i said no, we shouldnt pray. my answer was premised on the fact that these ‘leaders’ shall take this opportunity for self glorification and bragging. what they practise and what they preach are worlds’ apart… is this a denounciation of God? i have been feeling very guilty about my response, and sought Gods forgiveness, but whats your opinion?

Well i have a question in relation to giving……if you receive kickbacks in your line of business would tithing the amount still help put in play the covenant…….and secondly what other factors come into play other than giving in relation to the covenant coming into play?

I am happy and gratefully that i had the priviledge to hear this month’s sermon on Show me the money and God’s timing is so precise. I was looking for a way to turn around my finances, life and relationships. I was drawn to this book called THE SECRET and Mr. Wahome’s practical application of its teaching relating it to the bible teachings i was blessed. He said the God does not know qualifications as long as you align yourself with God’s perfect frequency then there is nothing he can not provide. I have been visualizing a new job within Nairobi in the private sector in an organisation that is aligned with the most high (God) and i know he has shown me the organisation. Mr. Wahome i am going to work for your organisation. Serving the most high everyday working with joyful, kind-hearted and co-operative collegues. The work i will perform i find interesting and i am greatly appreciated by my co-workers and Supervisors. Thank you Mr. Wahome for this opportunity and new job.
