Someone needs to upload the November sermons…I’m in New York and this is the only way I can listen to preaching and stay active in my christian faith, considering my busy schedule…BTW keep up the good work……I need a hit of my sermons

You cannot be a man and NOT be at Gideon’s Torch. Its the most powerful thing that ever happened in Kenya. Great place to be, feel charged to face the world and the devil

Hi
Its great to see the men get together on wednesday mornings to pray.
Is there a womens prayer meeting? The sermon by Pst. Mulandi was great. I think that the message on Muvuno keeping vigil so that the enemy does not fall in our midst is so true. Its been a tremeondous growth this year and we have to watch and pray.
My prayer this christmas is that God’s divine light will shine on me even in the year to come and that I will be ready when he calls me to serve
Blessings!

A man on his knees in prayer brings tears to my eyes. It is the most manly thing ever. I pray for such a man in my life as represented in ‘Gideon’s Torch’

It was amazing to see how many men made it for Gideon’s torch this morning; it can only be the Lord’s doing. I thank God for the men who are rising up to take their place as Tender Warriors including those who are giving their lives to Christ. May this be just a snippet of mighty things to come. Amen

I become jealous of all of you men who attend Gideons torch. OUUUCH.
I truly envy your families coz I imagine what it means for a man to truly humble himself before God without being coerced or given conditions. Heavens gates must be bursting open and releasing all the blessings. Men of God; Can you pray for my husband?

My Hubby attends this without fail save for the break in dec. He has pulled all the men in our Life group to attend. Our family has been so blessed by his spiritual leadership. Thanks Mavuno men for this fellowship. I throw a challenge to your fellowship, could you consider doing mentorship for the single mom’s sons in our midst….See how those young sons can be incorporated into GT to lay a better foundation for families in our future soiety. Imagine raising a generation of prayerful youths. I sense its a way of growth in this ministry.

Are there any men in Hazina, South B who attend Gideon’s torch? My brother lives there and he really wants to attend Gideon’s torch and was wondering if there are men who head out from there.

I arose with a bold and brave heart like that of a lion in Tsavo, roared and headed straight to meet the almighty at Gideon’s torch.
He was present. He heard him calling, calling for the leader in me to arise so he could use me to build alters for him, to devotion, service in his house and to obedience.
Thank you Pst Simon and Pst M for making Gideon’s possible. The 300 are coming home, the will be trained and will go out in arms to reclaim the continent for God

@Mulato. Go beyond the prayer and introduce your hubby to Pst. S or ask the ushers on Sunday for anyone in your neighbourhood who come for Gideons and have them call your hubby.

Am equally amazed at what GT has done in my life. Praying with fellow men keeps me more accountable as a tender warrior. I have been in construction business for a while until business went down, am now seeking for an employment I have a Diploma in Business Admin and also done a dip in construction. If there be a dear one who knows of some opening somewhere, feel free to hola me on 0710932441 or mail me on omamo2001@yahoo.com. Thank you

Hi pasi
Perhaps a prayer thought to consider if God will want mavuno to have church plants like this. seeing that the fibre optic will be switched on in a couple of months, there can be opportunities to partner with providers and have “satellite” campus(church) plants in some Kenyan towns. Can be a great way to grow and reach out to people.

Wow God is really checking in. God is calling men to prayer. Could the organizers work at an arrangement where men who do not have their own transport can carpool or just meet up and come in as a big group that early morning. I know a friend who wants to attend but has not been able to because of the transport issue. Over to the coordinators

What if the armies of the Lord
Picked up and dusted off their swords
Vowed to set the captive free
And not let satan have one more
What if the Church, for heaven’s sake
Finally stepped up to the plate
Took a stand upon God’s promise
And stormed hell’s rusty gates
What if His people prayed
And those who bear His name
Would humbly seek His faith, yeah
And turn from their old ways
And what would happen if we prayed
For those raised up to lead the way
Then maybe kids in school could pray
And unborn children see light of day
What if the life that we pursue
Came from a hunger for the truth
What if the family turned to Jesus
Stopped asking Oprah what to do
What if His people prayed
And those who bear His name
Would humbly seek His face yeah
And turn from their own way
He said that He would hear
His promise has been made
He’ll answer loud and clear, yeah
If only we would pray
If My people call by My name
If they’ll humble themselves and pray
If My people call by My name
If they’ll humble themselves and pray
What if His people prayed
And those who bear His name
Would humbly seek His face, yeah
And turn from their old ways
He said that He would hear
His promise has been made
He’ll answer loud and clear yeaah
If only we would pray

With the high level of erotic stimulation you face on a daily basis, do you believe you can bridle your lust alone? I remember a friend once telling me (and he said this with a straight face), “I’ll never have a problem with sexual lust.”
I looked at him and said, “You’re absolutely amazing. If that’s true, you’re stronger than Samson, godlier that David, and wiser than Solomon.”
I’ll never forget his response. He sat down and stared at me for a half minute without uttering a word. And then he said, “I never though of it like that.”
I’ll guarantee you, if Samson, David, and Solomon were here, they’d all say, “You can’t defeat your lust alone!”

Today was my first day of GT. What an experience!!!!Seeing all the men who had come to seek God’s face that early morning, well, let me just say that there are a few good men(and the number is growing every passing day!) of purpose left out there.I realize that i am not alone and just as i consider myself ‘Just a man trying to find his way back Home’,there are many more like me who have purposed to do the same and yes,it starts with GT.If you ain’t there yet, well you better just come and experience it for yourself to know how it feels.I am more than glad i came and even though i had to walk alone in the dark finding my way to church,I knew God was with me and it was worth it…

All Gideon Torcher’s: amen and amen! I’m a lady but your testimonies make me want to storm GT one of these fine days and attend. Hongera, warriors, you are the priests of the home we’ve all been waiting for, you are the ones who will seize the mantle of Godly leadership from the hands of Eve where Satan placed it after the Fall. You know, it was always the men who were meant to take the church and our homes places, let us claim back the spiritual order as God intended it to be! Hallelujah Jesus, be exalted.

I was amazed to find out that many of the guys who come for Gideon’s Torch are not born again… Okay, that right there, is a paradox…. well, my boyfriend comes for Gideon’s torch and it’s always encouraging to know that he is with a group of men praying. Not necessarily for me :-), but for the various needs of society and even for us.
I enjoy Mavuno because it calls out greatness. It calls us to step up and step out.

@ andru:
WOW!!!! That poetry is off the chains.
I have been thinking about that…what if I really and HONESTLY prayed? You know, really sought after God bila jokes… and that is the verse that kept coming to mind: If I seek HIM, i will find HIM. You’re right. He has promised, and HIS promises are? Yeah & Amen.
